We have a beautiful history with the world of motors and especially with motorcyclists.
We are in the middle of idyllic riding routes in the Pyrenees.
We are part of the project “Moturisme Ara Lleida”, a tourist product, pioneer at national level, promoted by the Tourist Board of the Diputació de Lleida, in order to specifically promote tourism among the group of fans to travel by motorbike.
Ten routes have been created that run through the province of Lleida, all of them with great tourist and scenic attractions that combine sections of secondary roads with little traffic and more twisty roads with other straighter sections of main roads.
All the roads along which the Moturisme routes pass have been supervised by an expert team to ensure they have excellent asphalt.
The distances to be covered on each of the routes are between 200 and 300 km, which means that they can be done in a single day, making it easy to stop at the different points of tourist interest along the route. Most of them can be done all year round, except for the ones that go through mountain roads at high altitude where in winter it is possible to find snow or ice.
Thanks to this project, motorbike enthusiasts will be able to discover the Pyrenees and the Lands of Lleida and enjoy the landscapes and gastronomy of the area with the guarantee that they will receive good service and will find excellent roads and facilities.

Trans-Pyrenean Lleida
A 170 km route that combines some of the best roads for international motorcycle touring with the world famous reference of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Romanesque art and architecture of the Vall de Boí. This route crosses the Pyrenean part of Lleida province from east to west. It is a demanding route complemented by spectacular views of five comarques (local districts) and, provisioned with a good supply of food and drink, one that will offer bikers the chance to enjoy the exhilarating experience of the Lleida Pyrenees and Moturisme Ara Lleida me in a single day.

The mountain-pass route
A 205 km route between valleys, peaks and mountain passes that will show visitors some of the most emblematic scenery in the Val d’Aran, El Pallars – Aran and the High Pyrenees. There are hundreds of high-altitude bends to enjoy for hours on end as you follow roads that run through stunning scenery. The route runs from the national border with France (in the west) to the provincial border with Girona (in the east). This is a demanding route which runs from the border with another country to the border with another province and passes through four different comarques (local districts) of great cultural and scenic value. Here, you can let yourself get lost as you enjoy an excellent day with Moturisme Ara Lleida.

The Lakes Route
A 265 km route between borders that will surprise you with the best of Catalonia and Aragon. It includes one of the longest tunnels through the Pyrenees and an administrative border that coincides with the River Noguera Ribagorçana and offers views of waterfalls, gullies and reservoirs between bends and on excellent tarmac road surfaces. This is a demanding route that will take you along the course of the River Noguera, through five different comarques (local districts) and to some of the territory’s most attractive reservoirs. It is a route which offers the excellent scenery and cultural landscapes of the Pre-Pyrenees and is truly worthy of the Moturisme Ara Lleida brand.

The bends route
A route of approximately 230 km that will take you across cols, mountain passes, gorges, borders and plains … as you trace a surreal U-shape through some of the most unusual parts of Lleida province, passing through four comarques (local districts), as you receive a rapid insight into the wealth of motorcycle tourism that this destination has to offer. This is an excellent combination of the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees in all aspects and makes for a demanding, but enjoyable, day out with Moturisme Ara Lleida.

The route through the interior
A 270 km route that will take you through peaceful areas of mountains, ridges and national parks and which will also introduce you to part of the dry land area of the province, which you will cross from north-east to north-west. Your route will trace an “S”-shape across the map of Lleida as you discover interesting new realities in four very different comarques (local districts). The route runs from the border with Barcelona province to a territory located between the rivers Noguera Ribagorçana and Noguera Pallaresa and offers a really enjoyable Moturisme Ara Lleida experience.

The route of contrasts
A 200 km route that will show you the contrasts between the Pre-Pyrenean foothills and the reservoirs along the two Noguera rivers, as you pass mountain ridges and ride through different comarques (local districts) on your way to the dry-land area of the Lleida Plain. This relatively short route takes in four comarques and will show you scenic, cultural, economic and social contrasts with Moturisme Ara Lleida.

The transversal route
A 250 km route that will take you through Pyrenean scenery until you reach a town which is now a reference point for motor bikers at the global scale: Cevera, the home town of the Márquez brothers. This route crosses the whole of Lleida province, from north to south, via six comarques (local districts) with contrasting scenery. The route combines excellent roads for motorcycle touring with others that are busier and faster. This is a good option for Moturisme Ara Lleida.

Details Route from North to South
A diagonal route of around 200 km which will take you from the Lleida Plain to the Pyrenees across five comarques (local districts). You will note contrasts between main roads with rapid straights and other slower secondary roads with many curves. The common denominator is moving through different municipalities which each have their own cultural and scenic charm for motorcycle tourists. This is one of the least known Moturisme Ara Lleida routes.

The ridge route
A demanding, semi-circular route of about 230 km which will allow you to discover much of the essential character of Lleida and the Pyrenees via three of its comarques (local districts). Narrow roads with many curves and outstanding scenery, as you cross the different mountain ranges of the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees. A high-level motorcycle tourism route that you are sure to enjoy and which provides a great example of what Moturisme Ara Lleida has to offer.

The Lands of Lleida route
A simple route of discovery of around 230 km, which is quick and easy and will allow you to learn a little more about the dry lands of the Lleida plain and their natural environment. Driving across five comarques (local districts), you will enter the plain and ride as far as the southern border of the province. Along the way, you will learn more about the cultural wealth of this area from Moturisme Ara Lleida.
