Peramola

A town situated to the South of the Alt Urgell county. The CAN BOIX HOTEL-RESTAURANT is included in its municipal boundaries. The town still conserves most of its Medieval quarter, with ancient houses, narrow streets with arches, and also the communal washing place. Major Square boasts Cal Ribó House, which dates from the 17th century. The town is rich in water due to the large number of natural springs, which are worth seeing. The population works basically in the agriculture and stockbreeding sectors. However, the tourist sector has gained importance recently. One of Europe’s largest fish farms can also be found here. The Peramola municipality also includes small villages that are worth a visit, such as Tragó, Nuncarga and Cortiuda.
